On the 21st of November José Inacio Faria MEP is hosting the conference “Academia for the Ocean: How academia is preparing the future workforce for Blue Growth worldwide”, from 15:00 to 17:00 in room ASP A5E3 at the European Parliament in Brussels.
The conference will discuss how Academia and Research & Innovation allied with cooperation with coastal cities, can improve effectiveness in terms of resources management. Representatives from the World Maritime University, the University of Azores, Nord University and the Arctic University of Norway will be present so that there can be a fruitful debate on such an important topic.
- Michaela Aschan is among the distinguished speakers invited to the event, and will showcase some of the results from the ClimeFish project during her presentation.
