Blue Mussels (Mytilus edulis)

The blue mussel, also known as the common mussel, is a medium-sized edible marine bivalve mollusc in the family Mytilidae, the mussels. Blue mussels are subject to commercial use and intensive aquaculture.

In ClimeFish we will include ble mussels in the Spanish case. This is a so called simulation case, where we include socio-economic analysis of potential consequences, identify risks and opportunities and mitigate and develope strategies.
